The Penticton Beach Cruise is this weekend, and I took some photos today. The main car show is tomorrow, and there should be a lot more cars, but in the meantime, here's a few.








There's a couple of US cars in there too, but I figured I could slip them in. :)

Damn it,

Wished I'd been clued in a day or so earlier....   Love to go but the next ferry to the mainland (seven hours from now) - then drivng time to Pentiction from the ferry (four more hours) gets me there late in the afternoon to do the show - arrival time around 13:30 PM Saturday.   Also I have birthday plans for my wife.

StripperSS you'll have to take some great pictures.   I'm putting this show on my list for next year, can you make sure you let us know when.    Would have been a blast to have met you at this show and experience it.

I have lots more photos, but only put the Pontiac ones here. It's 1:00PM right now, and I'm just going to head into town now to see the show. Dennis Gage from 'My Classic Car' is there today, so you'll see this on TV at some point.

Went to Penticton a couple times camping... Always missed the Show and Shines ,but its almost like a cruise nite....everynite. Might be different now, with the gas prices the way they are. Beautiful pics...

65 Catalina 2+2 421 4bbl,  Auto, White, w/red interior, Buckets w/column shift.

66 Grande Parisienne, 2dr HT, 327 4bbl, Auto.

Had the 66 since about 83 and the 65 since 88.
Both still require a lot of work.

Thanks for posting the pictures.....   Wished now I said screw and headed to the ferry yesterday morning for the first sailing.    Guess I'll have to wait and see it on TV in the winter or spring of 2009.

I'm hoping we get some new members out of this show. The guy with the Black Canso is from Kelowna, and may join up, and while I was talking to him, a young guy from Revelstoke came by and told us that his dad was restoring one just like it. You could say I spread the word. biggrin

Just bringing this thread back up to the top as a reminder for those who wanted to go last year. It's near the end of June this year. Can't remember the date.
If you have kids, the beach is right there, places to eat close by, even your wife might enjoy it!  :)

We have at least 5 Pontiac guys from Calgary going this year. I am planning on leaving Calgary on Thurs. June 25th. if anyone wants to convoy, we are open to others joining us.

I'm planning on catching the Kelowna "All Pontiac Show" on June 20, then hanging around the Okanogan until the Penticton show.  As 67rag396 stated, we'll have 5 or 6 cars from Calgary at the Penticton show.
