That is a great looking vehicle, but does anyone know where it is stored or on display? I have no idea where the museum is.

I know of at least one 56 that has been re-clipped as a Chevy. It was way cooler back in the '70s to have a black primer "gasser" look Chevy I guess.

As this topic was back on the board I thought I would do an update on my 55 Sedan Delivery. There is finally some paint on the vehicel the front clip is done, doors and the rear hatch have also been painted. Hopefully the body will be painted this week. Three coats of clear and then polish and ready for assembly. The rear quaters are quite big and with no chrome on them they have to be just right.IMGP2079.JPGfender3.jpgfender 4.jpgdoor 1.jpgbody.jpg

Great job!!! Love the colour. Is that an original Pontiac colour?

The colour is not original just a colour I thought might look nice. I don't think there is anything original on the car.

db, glad to see another one making it's way back to the road! The work you've done so far looks great, please keep us posted on your progress.

Here's a 57 I found on an old CD of photos I had. It was in a folder dated 2003, and it looks like an ebay pic. I had completely forgotten about this one. Hope it was saved, but it looks well gone.

Hi, This car is in a wrecking yard called Coyote Auto Salvage near Tofield AB. He wants $2500 for the car but it is very rusty. I also know the guy who got the rear door and is now trying to sell it for $450. It also is very rusty. I am pretty sure the car is still there.

Although this is not a post 1953 Delivery, Dennis Wibbleman's 1950 is a great example of a beauty. Dennis is a member of Puget Sound Chapter of POCI. See website and many pictures of our past car shows and member's rides at www.pugetsoundpoci.com. Dennis has some unique cars in his collection and is always interested in Sedan Deliveries. He lives in Bellingham, WA, USA I believe

I replied earlier but it looks like my reply is lost in cyberspace. I will try again.

Welcome to this site! As you can see lots of people share on this site.

I have a beauty of an 1950 Sedan delivery to share with you. Dennis Wibbleman built this delivery. It is an impeccable restoration as a resto-rod. It is very unique with a modified straight 8 with a aluminum head, headers and moon dual carbs. Dennis lives in Bellingham, Washington, USA. I would also like to share the Puget Sound Chapter of POCIs Website for more pictures of our member rides and our annual Pontiac car show held in June. Go to www.pugetsoundpoci.com.

here's a pict of my 49 sedan delivery project from good ole regina Beach Saskatchewan. This is what it looked like when I brought it home and what it looks like today. it has a 350w/ turbo 350 tranny. It has a 67 Camaro 10 limited slip rear end. just to name a few mods.

Yep, me too.  Kelvin Polonich's in Saskatoon used to be a Pontiac.

I have a 54 pontiac sedan delivery that i picked up with the 54 pathfinder special deluxe that i am working on now.I promise i'll get some pics soon but it is sitting at my parents house a few hundred miles away right now while i work on getting the car back on the road.It is rough and will need new rockers, floorpans etc.i will probably just return it to stock condition.i really have to get it home and see what is there and not there as it is piled floor to roof inside with parts.I know i have the front clip and hood as well as the original wood floors as i brought that stuff home in the back of the pickup when i pulled the car home.I'm not even sure if its an auto or standard tranny,i think it may be a standard. The original owner was a company called watkins "s" salesman from around the edmonton area.It has only had one registered owner. As a little footnote of history it turns out that mr watkins is the first cousin to our present premier of alberta.I haven't verified this, nor does it really make the car anymore valuble, but an interesting bit of history if its true.Pics coming soon.I'm sure it will take a few years to restore it but being such a rare piece it seems like a shame not to.

99% sure it was the delivery.  He said he had too hard of a time finding a Chevy, so he made one.  Don't think it as his 2 door wagon.  I'll have to ask him next time I see him.

Haven't been on here in quite some time. Here are some more pics gleaned off the net, apologies if they're yours and you don't want them here!

In case you couldn't tell, this 57 did some time as a drag weapon. What a resto project!

And I finally dug up a pic of the 57 delivery that I had a chance to buy about 10 years back!

The one that got away... But I already had a 57 Ch*vy delivery (still do!), and no storage...

It looks like deliveries are the hot topic around here at the moment!

Here are some pics of a 55 that I found on the Hamb recently. It's in the US I believe.

And the one for sale on here a couple of months back.
