Going, Going

...I'm taking off to the cottage and it's Wednesday at 2:15 pm, extra long weekend coming up, hee haw. Might not seem like much to you fellas in the countryside but this City boy is looking forward to it.  Sparkling waters of Georgian Bay and some serious hammock time....oh ya we got a new oven and I have to wire that thing up, the original one is hard wired into the panel, big old green wire, I'll replace that with a wall mounted receptacle. Seems straight forward but with a 40 year old structure let's just say I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Happy Canada Day if I don't check back in, we have rotary phone service so no internet up there! For emergencies the boys at the Fire Hall / Community Centre let us use. Ya they got a Lotto grant but had to have some community use in it. It is really a huge new firehall with a small room and a few computers for the "Community" to use. Haha that's creative financing!

Have a great time! I work Saturday and Monday but have Tues/Wed off. If all goes well that's when the Laurentian goes on the road!

Tuesday is my only day off as well, now too tired to do anything. LOL
Such nice weather out this past week-end too. One more week-end of work next week, then off for 2 weeks....
Hope to get a lot done around the house and on the cars. My wife is not on holidays, as she just started a new job and has no vacation time yet. Most of my holiday time should be spent on me stuff and not having to go somewhere or help someone do something or visit.
2 weeks of me time!
