I'm onto the body phase now. I'm scraping the undercoat off the underbody in prep. for degreasing and powerwashing (thank god for the rotis!). Looks as expected but It's obvious I'll need to treat all the scaly rust as it won't be getting dipped or blasted. I have a small pressure pot blaster that I'll use for cleaning up any areas to be welded to, along with any seams to be sealed, but the larger sections will for sure need to be treated before epoxy.
What rust conversion system should I use? What have you used? It must obviously be available in Canada. How is It I know that could be a problem?
Get used to me asking regular bodywork questions!

POR has a rust converter system that's non toxic. Works pretty good. It leaves a white powdery substance behind that needs to be rinsed off. It will also slightly etch bare steel in prep for POR paint (which is awesome when applied properly)
