There is a 68 convertible listed on Ebay but it's listed as a 69. I have emailed the seller to tell him and show him the difference in he 2 years. The car is in New York. The guy said he bought it out of Canada but it is titled as a 69. I gave him the contact info for GM of Canada this morning. I'llkeep ya'll posted as to the outcome. Auction link below. James
I think its gotta be a 68 for sure. although it is possible to put 68 taillights and front clip on a 69, the tell tail sign would be the vent windows/ door glass. It would be unusual to change all that out just to make a 69 into a 68. The vin and cowl tag will tell for sure.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH. The other one has a longer roof.
Besides what's mentioned above it seems to have '68 fenders, quarters and front bumper too.. The Vin listed in the ad appears to be a '69 though...wonder what cowl tag it has?.
I'd sure be checking the hidden Vins behind the heater box before laying any dough on this one!.
Hey James... I still have that original Beaumont Manual w/ POP for you.. I lost track of you on the SYC site and lost our PM's w/ your address but have been hanging on to it if you still want it?.

It may be titled a 69 but when you look at all the signs it is definately a 68,unless somebody went through all the trouble to change the metal dash behind the plastic which could be done, but why would you want to do that.Plus 68 quarter panels angle forward at the bottom back, where 69's come straighter down.Like James said-run the numbers with GM Canada and they will tell no lies.If GM Canada states that it is a 69 then the serial number has been changed.Either way I think who ever wants to buy it should clear everything up before they bid on this one.
