the price on this one is down to $5900... it seems like pretty darn good buy at that price? i think it started around 10-11k... anyone have any other info on this one?
numbersguy? or anyone run the numbers with george to verify its an SD?
Carl, claims to be a #'s matching 67sd, side trim is off a 66 i think... has the rare rear trim, but no side script and trunk sd emblem looks a little too far from the corner of the lid...
My friend went from Calgary to Vancouver to buy this car, then decided to pass when he saw it closer. More than he wanted to take on for a project. $5900 seems pretty fair for a complete car. The side trim had me confused.
Wow, yeah. You would think that with the scarcity of SD project cars worth doing (or so it seems to me) this one would have to be pretty ugly to pass up.
I recall thinking that when the blue bench seat SD car bid up around 12 on ebay about a year ago that it should be worth that considering the rarity. Someone on here owned that car, right? Was it Ken by chance?

Hi Carl, I think you are thinking about my Blue SD with the bench seat that I bought from Ken just over two years ago. That car definitely isn't mine. Anyone have an idea how many SDs were special ordered with the bench seat and on the tree? Can't be too many.
owner or ordering dealer just deleted the A51 and D55 for credit, quite common on an SS Chevelle as it was preferred by drag racers due to weight. I had a 67 SS396 Chevelle at the same time with a bench seat-the beaumont was a legend in a garage-suppose to be a 66 360 hp 4-speed-I always bugged the owner and was quite suprised to see a 67 SD when he finally showed it to me. I, believe it or not originally bought the car to steal the engine for the Chevelle, it was a 1980's repaint with all the trim in the trunk-I put the car together first and had planned on removing the big block for the chevelle and putting a small block in the beaumont-being #'s matching and the car looking quite good for a driver I decided not to ruin it-put it for sale to then buy a 396 for the chevelle-The car was sold on a deposit sight unseen-I had another guy coming same day, he was quite disappointed that it was sold-I showed him my chevelle we talked cars and before he left he owned the chevelle !
