This would probably work for any flat door panels. Here's how I made my own custom door panels that turned out quite nice. Next time, I would put spray several coats of contact cement on before I glued the pieces together.
I'm looking for extra door panel stainless. The pieces on the bottom of the rear panels are usually covered by the original rear seat. I have a rear seat from an 80s Pontiac and its a little bit smaller so the seam shows. A longer stainless piece will hide it. So if you have some 53/54 Cdn Pontiac door panel stainless available, contact me.
This is the same e-mail I have sent to other posts. I don't own the company but they are good.
I believe if you contact Doug Pollock at
SMS Auto Fabrics at 350 South Redwood St. in Canby, OR 97013, Phone: 503 263 3535 and website - www.smsautofabrics.com
you will be able to purchase the correct material. These folks are very professional. They also fabricate and emboss door panels. They are expensive but thier quality is wonderful. Our club has toured the facility twice in the last tree years. Tell them the Puget Sound Pontiac Club recommended them. You can get samples from them for comparison or send them a sample. Check out the website. Thier mills are in Pennsylvania.
