As listed in "cars I owned" thread, here is the only pic I have of the totally original $300 455 Grand Am I owned for a short while. We nicknamed this car "The Vulture" because of the beak they have. Hated them then, love them now!

Nice car, you know that white stuff is coming soon. Those were the days when you could buy cars for cheap. I wish I would have started the hobby sooner instead of partying back when I was a teen in 1981. Me and my buddys we use to buy big block cars for 50$ or so and go wreck 'em in the woods, yes I was a red neck too or "Habitant" in Quebec. Here is some we bought : 73 Parisienne 455, 66 Olds Starfire 425, Buick Lesabre 455, 74 Monte Carlo and we all blew the engines out of them or roll them down the ravine.
I had a 74 Lemans Sport Coupe but I always liked the Grand Am. A guy in town had a black 75 that he just destroyed. I tried to buy the car from him when he first got it but his girlfriend liked the car so the answer was no. I still have a soft spot for them. Thanks for posting the picture Carl.
Just noticed peeking out of the corner of that pic is one thing I forgot to list on "cars I have owned" thread. That's my 70 GMC Sierra 402 factory air and factory tach 1/2 ton. Unusual in these parts anyway.
