Ha Ha, Morley's car has been for sale for at least the last 10 years. Even though it is deteriorating daily, the price still keeps going up! He told me he wanted $1000 for the nos 427 emblems!

That photo has to be 10 years old then. Astro-Jet, Have you ever seen this beast live and in person. How old is this Morley Brown and what is his problem?
It's in Shelburne, Ontario. Owner is Morley Brown. He wants $5k for it I think. I've seen the car. It's unrestorable as he says, but all there including the power train, console, shifter, the works.
On the bottom of the data plate it clearly shows the engine (L36) and trans. (M20) is this only on Canadian built cars?
Yes. Only the Canadian production cars list the options on the cowl tag like that. The VIN will indicate V8 and if there were no option on the cowl tag it would have had the smallest V8 available for that model.
I saw the car about 4 or 5 years ago when I went to look at another car he had for sale. It looked pretty much like it looks in the picture. The trans and shifter are up through the floor - i.e the floor has probably collapsed around the hump. I'd guess the chassis & floor have disintegrated due to rust. Apparently it has been parked in that spot since the late 70s - I recall he said he stopped driving it in 1978. I understand from this board and other sources that it is supposed to be one of 10 or 12 427/390 hp 4 spd 69 Pontiacs made.
He called me when I had Todd's car for sale-he was very excited about the 427 emblems thought it to be real-I told him it was a 350 but would make a great body for that car-he said he was coming to see it but he never showed-lucky for me I'm very pleased to see those license plates on it now.
Went out to Grande Prairie,Alberta. on a train. I was going to buy that car yrs ago,but Morley said it was made out of Gold.Only numbers you can still read are on the tags.
