$1,49 in Montreal this morning. From what I have seen on CNN this morning, the damage in Houston doesn't look "that bad", however I will wait for a damage report from the refineries before passing final judgement.

Well the gouging in the US has begun as well.  There are reports in the Atlanta area of $5.49 a gallon.

A friend of mine found it in Banff.  He'd seen it years before and told the owner if he ever wanted to sell it to call him....He obviously kept his number and called him, just as I was thinking of buying something early 60's with a 6 in it for a daily driver.
Gas was $1.35-$1.39 here for regular today. And the weather was great +18 or so.

In the London area, i say the price will get to $1.45/litre this week. A bit more in surrounding areas and hopefully stay cheaper in the usual spots like here in St. Thomas, and up your way there Todd...it's always pretty cheap in your town.

Looks like it is going to go down about 9 cents a litre tonight, but why not the full 15 cents it went up Friday and Saturday?  Especially when oil has dropped almost $10 per barrel since then?  This is how we are getting screwed, they are constantly ratcheting it up by not dropping it as much after one of the temporary spikes.  We as stupid Canadians are just grateful for the few crumbs they throw back to us so over the long term the price just keeps going up.

Hillar, On top of that I just got notice for 3 license renewals today so now I have to Pay the $60 Miller Tax times 3.  I understand that getting Historical plates avoids this latest tax grab so I'll report on that in a few days.

Well it's no secret that Miller the moron and his minions at socialist silly hall hate cars and therefore all car owners need to be punished!  I'm convinced that Maoist Miller wants to turn Toronto into Beijing of 30 years ago with everyone on bicycles!  Why don't you use your cottage as your home address and register everything in Midland?  Everyone I know with a vacation home is doing that. Boy do I HATE Miller.furious
