RE: Classic - Cult car movies

Maybe I missed it in all the ones mentioned above, but some of you must remember California Kid?

And for the record, I still think "Cars" is hilarious!!

I watched all of Duel on of all places...Youtube. I have to say i didn't like it as much as i thought i would. Did anyone mention Sugarland Express? I just know there was a bunch of Mopar police cars in it. How about Herbie...the original one. Oh yeah, and maybe it's a stretch, but Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Along with 1986 Transformers movie...one of the Transformers that buys it is one called Windcharger. I had the toy, and it was an early 80's Firebird...never looked like one in the cartoon though. Oh, almost forgot, chase scenes in Bourne Identity and Ronin.

I bought my copy of DirtyMary,CrazyLarry at Wal-Mart.  I also picked up the original Vanishing Point there as well. In the Discount bin for $5.99 each

I had my wife and her girfriend looking at the local Wal-Mart for Vanishing Point. They even had a couple of guys helping them look. No luck. Only 12 more Wal-marts to checkcry

There was some alright cars in the movie The Wraith. I'm not sure what the main car was. I think it was some kind of a modified Dodge. I'd have to watch the movie again to remember some of the cars in it. I think there was a Vette and a Camaro though.
Btw I also loved the Mad Max movies and the movie the Car.

The movie The Demolition Man was set in the future but there was a chase scene with a 1969 Olds 442.
