69 Parisienne in Australia

Just a couple of quick pictures of my car. Will get some  better pictures taken soon, plus some under hood shots but this is all I've got for now.

Good photos. Is that grille custom? The instrument panel looks interesting too.

The grille is one I made up out of chrome mesh because the original grille was missing when I purchased the car. Now that I found this website will start to source out a lot of parts to make the car how it should be.
And yes I did notice the dash picture had been rotated, cant understand what happened there. it almost looks like it was made that way.

I have one side of a NOS Grand Parisienne grille. Not 100 percent correct but it will fit (these were the same as the U.S Bonneville. It is steel instead of plastic. You are welcome to it but shipping might be pricey due to it's weight and size.

Well, that's odd. In the one pic, the dash is flipped around and yet the numbers on the licence plate are correct......wink

I don't think the pic of the dash is flipped. The pedals in that same pic aren't flipped. It must be a right hand drive.

I think you are correct!   Would they have to flip, the sun visors, around too?

That dash looks like it is from a 69 Impala.  I may have some plastic 69 grilles in my collection, I'll have a look and let you know.

Yep, RHD as note this car has the Corvette style sweep wipers w/ unique wiper transmission and cowl vent cover for clearance of the RHD brake system etc..

Join the club of GM of Canada vehicles that were exported as RHD CKD vehicles!  We are a rare breed!  Take note of your dash, if it is also manufactured from fibreglass as with the Canadian 1965 Malibu I have! Perhaps Canadian Poncho should make provision for us Commonwealth owners!  I wonder how many  RHD exports are around?

Yes,we were joking about the dash being flipped around.

If there was a few more of you here, I bet you could convince Todd to start an RHD section to post up all the info on your unique cars.
