The lavender car was georgeous!! Talked to the owner for a bit, his wife supposedly has a 65 Custom Sport with a 327/3speed column shift? He said in the hole in the console where the shifter would be, there is a buick ashtry? Her car also has manual brakes and Power steering, as well as air conditioning. I think that would have to be a pretty rare combo of options. I thought you would've like the 66 H/T with the 427/4speed! Talked to the owners girlfriend and told her bout the site, as well as pretty well everyone else I saw, would've been nice to have the business cards. Hopefully there here for next sunday, last show of the season in High River.

Those set ups are usually done by the die hards, the folks who get there first, set up the gazebo, bring out the patio furniture , the hibachi and cooler of favourite beverages. They sit around all day gabbing or reading a book. They are in it for the long haul.
Part of me in envious of them because I just don't have the time.
Or the ones who put the A&W tray in the window, have a big radio sitting on the package tray (a great projectile in a collison) and other memorabilia spread out around the car..

How 'bout this in your back window? It was in a Cuda. Oh Yeah, it was a rotating turntable.
