It is always nice to get recognition, good on you.
I hope you will keep the car the way it is. My 19 yr old. son comes with me to cruise ins from time to time and I always tell him that cruise ins give him a distorted view of the cars people drove back in the day. Coming from the Big Smoke I tell him muscle cars were not lined up on every street like you'd think by going to a cruise, regular folk had regular cars, six cylinder engines were as common or more common than 8's. Today I am convinced there exist more GTO Judges than ever left the factory. I even saw a 1968 Judge today at a cruise in, kind of odd when you know 1969 was the first year for such a model.
I don't even stop and look at the muscle cars anymore, they are getting to be a dime a dozen. It's the stock looking cars and Sunday go to Church cars I like to see now. Saw a beauty 1963 Lesabre Sedan today, looked like the day it left the showroom, and then a 1958 Olds 4dr. hardtop got my attention, a 57 4dr. sedan Laurentian 261 six and so on.
