69' Impala/Parisienne tilt wanted.

Looking for a decent tilt column from a 69-70 Impala or big Canadian Pontiac.
No BOP's.
Wheel not important.

cheers, Mark.

Column shift or floor shift?

My favorite yard south of here a few hours likely has 3 or 4 column shift tilts that I've seen.

I will let you know if I get back there this fall. I would like to and I know they are there. I think he is usually around $100-$125 for a tilt but I can make sure. It would incur taxes and duty beyond that to bring it into Canada.

Oh, and likely there would be a small removal fee. The meal ticket at my favorite Mexican restaurant!

No, older than 69 would have the key on the dash, so likely 67-68 is one group.

gm usually did things on a 2yr plan.
'65-'66
'67-'68-column had hazard lamps added.
'69-'70-ign. cylinder added to the column.
i have a '68 column with the original part # still on it, same # for both years, '67-'68.

Thanks for the heads up on the ebay column Dave,
I've bid on a couple in the past, but they just went too high for my liking. About 4 years ago I bid on what was represented as a 70 Impala column, turned out to be a very nice full size 69-72 Buick item.
Won't fit the Impala.
Live and learn I guess.
Anyone need a what probably is a fs bop tilt column?

actually now that you mention it mark, the knobs/top end appear to be correct but the business end looks to be a stub/spline. the '69 end has a flange that bolts to the rag joint. seller has alot of '69 parts listed. weirdface

Thanks for the reply Carl,

If you find a really nice column in one of your regularly frequented yards...grab it Carl!

I'm good for it within reason.

Let me know.

Cheers, Mark

I will watch, Mark. You know how it can be. If it's been sitting for years, windows down, it looks like crap. It's not unusual to find one with the windows up still and then it should be nice.

Thanks Carl.

I'm actually also looking for a good bench power seat setup. I think it could come from any big GM, 65-70.

Cheers, Mark.

I'm sure he has that too. This guy has a whack of 60-70 B bodies.

Hi. I have a 69 Impala tilt with a column shift. The rubber part is off the turn signal indicator. I live an hour southeast of Edmonton. Price is $150 if you are interested.
