The Fleetwood arrived so I took it around the corner to JB Racing for it's safety. Joe was amazed and kept asking me what year it was.
Did I mention that this thing lays rubber like a drunken sailor. Good thing it's only got the 185 HP 300 ft lb 350 TBI, I don't think I could afford the tires with an LT1.
Joe's 32 Pierce Arrow is coming tomorrow, anybody want picture?

I would love to see pic's of the Pierce Arrow. I have a friend who has a 34 that has been in a resto shop for years. Here's a few pic's
I'll post pics of the Pierce Arrow as soon as a I can. I get details on where it came from. Joe has about 15 cars, 59 Caddy, 57 Chevy, 62 Falcon, Bucket T, 67 Firebird, 63 T-Bird, 80 Lincoln, 54 Ford P/U, 55 Ford dual quad something, 58 Impala Drag car, more Camaros and Firebirds and I forget the rest...But he does not and I repeat does not have a Fleetwood! Well he sort of does because he's got mine for few days.

Unfortunately no...got nothing extra in the piggy bank for it. I think if anything i'll keep saving up money in the Trans Am fund. If i got really crazy i could try selling the Corolla and go for a big ol' Caddy, or Parisienne or Impala.
I saw one on kijiji the other day, did it have a second set of tires and wheel covers?
Not it, It does have Cop style wheel covers, the chrome with black centre, it is at a shop I sometimes use. The owner will only drive the rear wheel drive V8 Chevy's so when he finds them he grabs them. He was using this one then he grabbed a customer's 50,000 km 86 Caprice that had air so the Olds powered one got parked beside the shop. BTW he just sold his 65 Sedan DeVille since we are talking Caddy's, just found it a handfull now that he's over 60.
It's cheap, it's clean, it's a V8 and it's a Caddy, what's not to like.
Best stay away from the 4.5's or any Caddys w/ the 4100 series engines.. I had a couple run ins w/ them over the years and they're a BIG bag of Trouble!.
That Oldsie powered Chevy sounds like a winner!.

Ya you're right on the 4100 but i hadn't heard that much on the 4.9 or 4.5 versions.
I really like that 307 Caprice, would make a perfect unmarked Police Car tribute. You know the wheel discs I mean..SEE HERE.
I've always been a Buick fan and have thought about dumping the S10 for another vehicle. First I though about buying some 40mpg econobox but then realized that A) I commute 40 minutes each way and am a bit tired of worn seats and rubber floor mats as well as squeaks and rattles. B) If I get nailed in my truck or an old Corolla I'm toast. So.. I don't really consider myself a Caddy guy (well maybe those Nova-Sevilles) but I've always liked Buicks. I miss my 97 Regal GS however it wasn't the most reliable car. I really liked the 97-up Park Avenue Ultras and have started cruising the want ads. I found this one in nearby Woodstock: CLICK HERE
That's a lot of car for $4499 (or less) 172k. My only concern is he only ran reg gas because "my mechanic said I didn't need to run premium". The supercharged 3800 must have premium fuel. I know the knock sensors will retard the timing but don't know if it was enough to prevent damage. Everything else works but the air ride..
