If you turn the heater on you would have "DRY HEAT" over riding the "HUMID HEAT"

I have had 40 years of hot summers.. Most cruise nights and car shows, I avoid, if its HOT...( If I can not get air cond, installed here in Ontario, for my last purchase, then Both cars will  gone..)  I am too old, to put up with no air cond.. If you enjoy the heat,  good for you....smile

I would expect any competent ac shop could do the conversion. I think Vintage Air has a system for the Nova. That should work for the Ventura. Dougs Rad in Woodstock might be a good choice. Doug has a bunch of old cars-68 Camaro, as well as two early 60's Caddies. He does all my rad and gas tank work. Worth a shot although you may want to try someone closer.
We have a fantastic AC tech at Toyotatown. He does all the work on the General Managers Camaros. I could talk to him.

Thank you Todd! for your direct answer to my inquiry..  I will take the car ANYWHERE to have air cond installed.. I was wanting a recommendation, for a place, someone had used and "trusted". I looked at the kits for Nova a/c, but it involves cutting the dash, on 71-up models.. And it invloved taking hood, right fender, and bumper off etc.  I was even considering driving it, into the States, and staying in a motel, until a/c was done..  I would pay "ANY" amount,  to have it installed by a guy, who would treat my car, like his own..  I will talk to you next week...As I said in previous post.. If it doesnt have A/C by spring, both cars will be gone.....thanks again for the reply.. Carl
