I am heading up on Sunday morning. The SD is ready to go. I hope the weather holds up. I'll get some pics of the completed car posted on Sunday night. Hope to see some fellow Canandian Poncho members there. I have my sticker in the front window.
I went yesterday! up at 5:30 left at 6:30 in pouring rain! Drove up 21 to Port Elgin, arrived 8:00 I was a not pre- registered car, and was #491 I parked car, and cleaned it up.. I was impressed, with the organization of the event!.. I met some really nice folks.. It was the "first" big show, for the Strato Chief, and I was totally shocked, at the number of people, who stopped and looked!!!!!! I was surprised, at the number of woman who stopped. They lookED at the back seat. It must have brought back memories? I meet a man from Sudbury! who had driven down, a Beautifull 64 Custom Sport Pariesenne HT. I also met a very nice man , who owns my "next car" lol How about a "Canadian built" RED 2 DOOR POST 4 speed rust free GTO... I also met a very nice guy, who knows Mark, and Hiliar? He was Roury(spelling?) He was from Brampton? I met a man from Teeswater, who has a 66 Pariesenne, and has parts for sale, a 66 283 V8, and needs a chrome piece for his trunk.. I was very pleased I went! I left the New Brunswick plate on the front , and meet some people from N.B. and a lady who knew my cousin, who was a Cdn FIDDLE champ! and last but not least. I had 2 (not 1) but 2 people tell, for a fact, that you can not get a 427 Chevy motor in 66 Pontiac... they were POSITIVE!! LOL Carl my pictures are on photobucket under Wincy99

No, I was driving the beater Impala with the 6 speed. It will NOT be in a show anytime soon, unless I fix the 6" diameter rust hole in the front fender, and the peeling paint, and a few small dents, and.............
