It's kind of fun bringing the barge sideways up to the dock!

You're a sick sick manbleh*LOL*
I have to agree with Carl 2, i'm more of a warm climate creature.  Why can't we hibernate like bears?
I hope i didn't get the Carl's mixed up.  Don't know what i'll do if a third comes along*L*

I can't wait for the snow car season is over now so lets get to the cold and the snow. I love to go for a walk in the middle of a storm and I would rather have a foot of snow than a inch of rain any day. I BBQ just as much in the winter as in the summer I'll be out in 30 below and my neighbors just shake there heads and run inside. I guess that why I have no desire to ever leave Manitoba

I like snow storms as long as I don't have to go out in them.

here's a pic of the wagon last year on its way to my friends shop Nov 25. I had just put in new ball joints and tie rod ends without an alignment . And it was 100 km of terror it was snowing and the car had a mine of its own

Reasons I like winter---

1)Sliding sideways up to the house

2) Curling

3) Finally time to work in the garage

4) Snow is beautiful

5) Finally time to work in the garage

6) Sliding sideways up to the house

Have I mentioned time to work in the garage, and sliding sideways up to the house yet???!!!

I left an impression on my son when he was about 7. I had an old S10 and we went to a parking lot and did a bunch of donuts in the snow. When I got this S10 (5 years later) the first thing out of his mouth was "Can we do donuts with it?". WE SURE CAN!

Todd, I did the same thing with my son and his friends with the 1970 2+2 300hp. We would go on a Sunday to the mall parking lot and I'd flip the air cleaner lid and pull donuts for the kids. They claimed it was better than a circus ride. Off course this was before Sunday shopping became a normal thing.

We have a creek/coulee running behind our house. I don't remember it but I've heard my dad used to load us in the car in the winter and crank donuts on the ice while mom watched and prayed!

To me, driving like that is a normal part of farm life, even today....
