I was spared the anxiety, one of those rare moments when I was off line.

I have captured Hillar's response to the down time and recovery in emoticons:

Sorry guys but I wasn't informed either! The guys who run the server did it. Maybe I should log into admin more often as there was probably a warning posted. I guess we shouldn't complain as it has only been once in 9 months! We have to be careful when the system is down. We could do crazy things-like go out and buy a Park Ave Ultra......Yep, I pulled the trigger..

Good for you, I don't think you'll be sorry for that one.

Of course, we haven't heard yet from Ray........................

I came home to an empty house yesterday. Got a text message from Jr. and his sister.

"At the ACC trying to score Carrie tickets."

Later: " Row 25 $120 for the pair"

They loved the show, I know Jr. would die to meet a girl like that!  hump.gif

It was a great show and the opening act was good too.  I should add that Carrie has a damn fine voice as well, she is the only American idol winner to ever have really gone on to true and deserved stardom.

Tip for future concert goers, the promoters always hold back seats for VIPs, etc. and the unused ones are always released to the box office on the day of the show.  I walked up to the box office at the ACC at 7:30 and got first row platinums about 50 feet from the stage for $57.50, plus there was no BS ticketmaster service fees added when you buy on-line which can add 25% to the cost of the ticket.  It's a bit risky using this method but I haven't been shut out yet.  There were 6 empty seats in my row and at least 8-10 in the row behind me.

I'm not telling the kids, Row 25 sound pretty good to me for 60 Bucks BUT Hillar you can always scope out the deals! thumbsup.gif
