2010 Camaro Salesman's Ordering Workbook

If I buy one it won't be until the convertible comes out but still neat to once again have some literature for a GM performance rear wheel drive vehicle.  Check out page 12 onwards, they even recognize us old school performance guys.  Headers and catback available right from the factory! headbang.gif

Pretty nice score Hillar. Now for reality, To be viable they need to move 250,000 units per year. Are there that many folks out there willing to Pony up for a 300 or 400 HP car in this economy and fuel situation ? We all know the car is 3 years too late already. I hope it works out for GM and more importantly the loyal workers in Oshawa.

Cool Hillar...thanks for sharing this!.

The stupid thing (or smart move) is the non availability of the top-dog engine also keeping the ugly S-10/Murano style grilles for the first year...or longer?.
When they've sold to everyone who really wants one bad enough and can't wait, they'll bring out the bigger engine and the RS grille packages etc so the used market gets moving when these same people order the latest models..

I can't wait to see one in the flesh and hope they seem lower than the Challengers..
The Dodge looks cool at first glance but after crawling all over and under one, I got the feeling they sit way too high..

Anyone here seen pics of Trans-Ams on the new body style?.
They're way cool and although doubtful the General will make them soon, it wouldn't be surprising if the aftermarket tools up for conversions?.

The new 'Cuda concepts are pretty cool too!.

If GM could move 250,000 units a year, they would be absolutely ecstatic!  I think they are hoping for roughly 1/2 that amount the first year, and even that may be optimistic now the way the economy is going.  It is interesting to note the differences in marketing attitude for Canada and the US.  Here it will clearly be viewed as solely a Sunday car or second toy car; I don't think they really expect to sell a lot to people as their sole vehicle or daily driver.  Consequently pricing here will likely reflect that, in other words, we will be screwed again as we are on the G8!furious  In the US there will be a much bigger push to sell this as a daily driver, particularly the V6 version, and GM is on record (in the US anyways) as saying the pricing will be extremely competitive with the Mustang.  If I do end up buying one of these, I'm almost certain it will be from a US dealer.  I just hope GM survives long enough to bring the next models - the convertible and the rumoured Z28 supercharged version - into production before they run out of money and potentially go bankrupt.

Any idea about pricing yet? I am just online now getting a quote on a new CTS, if I sell all of my fleet...

I have already inquired about that, I'll let you know.  You'd think if they are going to allow people to order on Monday, that they would have firm pricing available....weirdface
