I have an old Strombecker kit from when I was a kid (60's)
I bought 2 more kits in the 80's to add to it, but those kits are pretty much worn out. They likely have a million hours on them!!!
A number of years ago, my nephew (67sd396) came here to visit and he and I raced solid for about 6 hours. Needless to say, he got the bug.
Last year he showed up here with two kits. They are scalectric (?) and seem to be Strombecker clones. I'm not sure of the scale, but they are big and fast! We have put many hours on them already...
