I hope to have the GTA running by Monday. My buddy Scott has been plugging away at it when he's had the time. He found some problems, but it's looking like a fuel pump. Have to drop the tank this weekend.

Oh ya this thread was about Earl's GTA...thanks for the update. Hope you get that running and out for a few good runs before the next storm.

Yer a good sport Ray. We wouldn't rib ya if we didn't like ya. Besides, I'm one to talk with my big boat Park Avenue.

You know Todd I have to buy cars that fit me. I'm over 6 feet tall and many pounds over my ideal weight, it's not that I wouldn't drive a smaller car, it's just that they don't fit me! Jr. has to be 6'3" and unlike me pure sinew but still even the seats in that old Regal he used would not go back far enough for him.

I have found that Honda's have good seat adjustment but once I get the seat back far enough I can't reach the wheel! I guess not that many 6 footers in Japan. biggrin

Thanks Ray. I hope so too. This all started out by looking for a engine for my IROC. It has now taken on a new chapter.

Watch, when Ray is 80, he'll buy a Camaro SS. As foghorn leghorn would say "Yer doin' it all wrong boy!"

Already had an SS, I tell you boys a Northstar powered Caddy Deville is faster, that's why we call them "Muscle Cars in a Tuxedo".  Now the Fleetwood on the other hand is like a freight train, once its up to speed don't ask it to stop!

Like I said it is  so nice I am such a saint, I don't mind being poked fun at, it's a sign of envy...right?

"Muscle Cars in a Tuxedo".  Your right Ray. Need to find a cheap Eldo, say  a 98 ETC. Strip out the dead weight, add some easy stuff to up the ponies and go dragging with wearing a Goodwill tux!!!

With that formula, what do you think....low 14's  hi 13's possible ?  I like your thinking!

I got a Motor Week road test for a 93 ETC - 0-60 6.7 - 1/4 14.8 @ 93 mph.
