Funny, I also found a rare bird too, yesterday I just went and looked at a one owner 1978 Pontiac Transam W72 400 4 speed ST10 upgraded with a rebuilt motor featuring the original WC block and older Hi Po 70 GTO big valves 13 heads, Edelbrock Performer intake and carb. The car has only 50000 miles and is blue on blue and pretty much rust free, he may sell it for $10 000 ... good deal for someone who is into these TA's, myself I like the older 1970-75 ones.

Wow, that sounds like great value-did it have air or t-tops, PW or PDL, were the cosmetics nice ? you didn't by chance take some pictures ? was it on kijiji ?

He had some of the original stuff for sale in the Buysell and I happen to see his car located in Winnipeg. It look real clean to me, he had a complete aftermarket AC system installed, I didn't notice if he had PDL or PWs ? No T-Tops or pics, sorry. I was surprise that he only had the 15x7 snowflake wheels and not the 15x8's.

I believe most cars had 15 x 7's and being a 78 it could have been an early car-this was the first year for 15 x 8's and was part of the WS6 option package. I'm going to try to see the 78 on Hamilton kijiji this weekend-strange I had two cars a 77 SE 400 4-speed blk/blk t-top a/c and a 78 400 auto black/gold t-top a/c-both were worthy projects that I sold in the last couple months but I have aquired a liking to these cars and will go see this one.

Don't  tempt me like that!  By the end of the month if at least one's not sold it's gonna be a Blue Christmas around here.

think "green" Christmas ! free up some space and drop that stuff off on saturday before I blow the bank on something else. I'd like to have the Acadian-can keep it at my Dad's and then banking I can work the other two to cover the cost of the Acadian, if not my wife or I could drive the Caddy (I hear theres a window to a Caddy site from this one !) and surely I can move the TA with all the people that called about the 77 and 78. think about it you have nobody on them at this point-sounds like $2 will take the caddy and $15 will take the TA and I'm pretty sure even though I like the Acadian most guys will work it down from the $25 to $2 or ? so in reality your down $1 to move them all at once (and delivery)

Blue Chrismas or Green Christmas

P.S. bring along a couple of Todd's T-Shirts to sell me !

Is the Acadian home yet Earl? Now that it's so damn dark when I come home from work I can't see what's parked in your driveway!

Ok, heres what all will think is the low ball, but may help out that blue Christmas a little, drop off the Acadian I'll give you $1500 cash-this will save me from trying to sell the other two cars-bring a couple T-Shirts and a key chain for the "new" Acadian

chances are you'll get more $ selling each individually.

let me know

Thanks for the offer Ken. I'll think about it and let you know by Friday. The Acadian is still at my brother's in Shannonville and I don't have access to a trailer right now. It needs front wheel cylinders and a fuel tank to drive it home. The Caddi I drive everyday, The Trans Am will run & drive also but rotors are shot and it's been off the road for a few years. I drove it about 20 klms. in August, not since.

I have TA rotors here but the box is marked 78 -down ? maybe different ? The body looks like it might not be too bad on that car ? Its probably possible to have Paul Malec haul the TA while you drive the Caddy and return with him. Not sure how to handle the Acadian-guess Ross Wood or even Paul could haul it but is does get costly. I'd like to have the Acadian just trying the bait you by offering for 3-please don't take insult-just being a buyer.

No insult taken Ken.
I know what it's like on both sides, buyer & seller. I just came back in the house now. There was a guy here who wants the Trans Am, so it looks like it's going this weekend. I gotta get on my bro to get the Acadian mobile next week. I'll keep you posted on progress

Hey, thats great ! best if you can sell them individually it'll bring more $ for you, tell him I have lotsa parts ! spare header panel (complete even the bumper rebar) and rear bumper cover with the honeycomb insert cheap. I have lotsa small stuff, plus 4-speed conversion etc...

probably get a quote from Ross to bring the acadian from Shannonville-doesn't make much sense to bring it to Ingersoll then here-let me know what your thinking.

I have a decent 97 Lesabre sedan for sale too if you know anybody 180 kms 3.8 series 2

Buick had there act together in 97 as far as a decent, quality driver.  LeSabre's are good on fuel also.  I prefer Park Aves.

Its funny the "old man" stigma stuck thats why they don't bring any money, other than intake gaskets there weren't many problems-this one is good-can't buy a cavalier for that much !

$1850 !

I'm going to raise the price next week
