Anyhow, I'm fortunate enough to have the car my father took us to the movies in on a Friday night as a family, the car I was first pulled over in with a license that was 3 hours old, and many more stories. Obviously no comparison to the stories of having a wife and family but I don't think the two should be compared. A car should be more like a pet or just an addition to the family. Not one or the other. A family can share the enjoyment of a car. Now if the woman you are chosing doesn't like cars and you do clueless.gif Just my

Well put Michael. I cringe when I see guys having to sneak around behind their wife's back to have a car hobby. If some of you on here have to do that it must suck. That would take away all the "therapy" I get out of my hobby time.

Years ago before i met my wife. i had one girl friend state she thought i had to many motorcycles. i think i only had 8 at the time. so i bought another the next day. needless to say the relationship sailed downhill shortly after. now don't get me wrong my wife and family are my first priority. but how i keep my sanity is anything with wheels. and yes my wife has her motorcycle licence, hates to drive the 55 thou and i'm okay with that too.

Just saw this old thread I started about 4 years ago and realized I never did show any updated pictures of my car.  I have spent countless hours polishing the paint and trying to revive it from really bad oxidization.  It looks ok from 20 ft but it really does need paint. Here is what it looks like now:

Thanks for those Mike, gives me a little idea of what mine could look like. Right now I am headed for white on it but have resigned to do it without side trim and maybe even some emblems. Really haven't had a chance yet to look what all came with it but I bought it for the style of the car. Never know might find a donor some day.

Yeah, I wish I had his body. Oh wait, that didn't come out right....

I wish I had the sheet metal he has. I have 1/2 the miles but I had to put floor pans in mine. His are original still.

Mike's not online right now but yes, he's got a real V8 car.

Shoot him a PM Shawn, he may be interested in those caps.

It appears to be a light blue and a dark blue.  The code on my cowl tag is 920.  Here are some pictures to help you out.  I see you were looking for pictures of a two tone blue interior on STEVESNOVASITE.

You're very welcome.  It is all original except I think the carpet has been changed.  I question the color of the carpet.  I'd really like to see an original blue carpet to know for sure.

Funny that you say you like the white and blue combination because I was not a fan of blue interiors until it was paired with a white car.  This car and the color has really grown on me.

Most of the blue interior cars had blue paint from what I have seen.  And most white cars had black or red interiors.
