Or how about all the 1969 SS Camaro's because of the X11 on the cowl tag, or a copo because of the X44? My 69 is an X11 but GM VVS says it's just a Camaro. It will end up with the full RS package sans monikers.
I will send off the GM VSS and "pay the piper". I don't believe the goat is anything special but you never know.............. like my pile of rust 69 Firebird it's a numbers matching 350 HO convertible, pretty low manufactured numbers and was picked up at GM in Oshawa. No dealership involved.
Since the VVS doc that came with my 64 Beaumont (1) has prior owner's name on in it and (2) he blacked out the engine data, I guess he was embarrassed that the car was originally a 6 cylinder that someone had dropped a 283 into, I would like to get a new doc - but I cannot find any form to fill out on the website???
Should I just call, or what?
Thanks,
Dave
