RE: Gas- how low will it go?

Think this will help lower gas prices further?...sorry about caps, it's off the news wire.

OIL-PRICES
INDEX:INTERNATIONAL, OIL&GAS

OIL PRICES HAVE CLOSED BELOW 44 DOLLARS U-S A BARREL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOUR YEARS.
THE NEAR-MONTH FUTURE CONTRACT FELL THREE DOLLARS AND 12 CENTS TODAY -- CLOSING AT $43.67 U-S A BARREL ON THE NEW YORK MERCANTILE EXCHANGE.
CRUDE HAS FALLEN NEARLY 27 DOLLARS IN JUST ONE MONTH.
JUST FOUR MONTHS AGO, CRUDE ROCKETED TO A HIGH OF 150 DOLLARS.
TOM KLOZA, PUBLISHER AND CHIEF OIL ANALYST AT OIL PRICE INFORMATION SERVICE SAYS NO ONE BELIEVED CRUDE WOULD LOSE 100 DOLLARS IN VALUE BETWEEN JULY AND DECEMBER.
SOME ANALYSTS BELIEVE DEMAND COULD EVAPORATE FURTHER EARLY NEXT YEAR.
KLOZA SAYS THE SENTIMENT IS THAT WITH LAYOFFS, THE COLD WEATHER, AND THE BILLS COMING DUE AFTER CHRISTMAS, ``JANUARY IS JUST GOING TO BE AWFUL.''
