1967 327 Rebuilt Engine

I was talking to Leo in Seaforth today.. He has a rebuilt 1967 327 small journal motor with new pistons  Its date coded June 67  He says, it had heads, marked "Canada", what ever that means.. He wants $2500.00 for it, which I thought, was good for a correct 327   I can get the numbers off it ..  $ 2500.00  Carl

I have a 68 small journal 327 in my 66.
When I had it rebuilt (about 23 years ago). The guy at the machine shop told me the small journal was only out in 68 or it was rare. Can't remember which.
Ok, not really sure why I posted. Just like to hear myself type I guess.
Does anyone know what years the 327 ran a small journal crank?
Or what difference it makes ver the larrge journal crank?

Had the 66 since about 83 and the 65 since 88.
Both still require a lot of work.

From Chevrolet Power 5th Edition 1985:

327 1962-67 Main Journal Dia. = 2.30

327 1968-69 Main Journal dia. = 2.45

BTW 327 listed as 2 bolt main bearing caps for all years.

Thanks 73SC, think I'll check the engine code on the block to see what it is.
Been a while since I looked. Maybe I have a 67 block???
