What is a Muscle Car?

As with a Hex nut and round hole, only one size nut will in fact fit in the hole.  You my friend are the one Cadillac guy in our Canadian Pontiac hole.

I'm just an old school (carbs not injection) muscle car guy that likes to go fast and sometimes sideways (as in RWD).

And once agian, I am humbled by your kindness.

This is what I got back from the Land Of The Lakes GTO Club.

Hi Kim:            Thanks for your interest. Most people assume a Muscle Car was built in the USA, but that is not completely true. Any 1964 through 1974 GTO is classified as a Muscle car even if it was produced in Canada. I do not know much about the Beaumont or the Acadian. You are very much welcome at the Muscle Car Classic car show with your 1970 455 GTO. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me or any other club members.. Hi

I was reading on a website how you define a muscle car. One of those points is built within the USA. So does this mean my 1970 455 GTO that is built in OshawaCanada....can't be in your show as per your outline of a Muscle car. Or is it for the other Canadian cars like the Beaumont and Acadian?

Thanks Kim

Isn't that a nice message, very nice gentleman there. Might be a nice gesture to send him the web address so he could poke around and find out a bit more about our Canadian Ponchos, Acadians and Beaumonts.

I suspect that if a person pulled up to the gate, unless the guard happened to be a GM fan, they may not even realize a Beaumont, Acadian or Cdn Poncho is out of the ordinary.
