my 65beau

Hullo 65beau,

With my 65 CANADIAN RHD MALIBU you must imagine the ribbing i GET!!!! ashamed However with a triple by-pass behind me and not being as strong as I would like to be, God has taught me not to get upset and to forgive people.  awwHowever He did not say you must FORGET!!! aww Just learn how to avoid, laugh off or sidestep issues and see how restful life can be!!!!biggrin

Missed your pictures and would've loved to compare and learn from your collection!

This web has a bunch of great guys

Morning 65 Beau,
Nice Ride and I think we have a lot to compare!!! At the moment I am trying to find out what the Off-set on a 6Jx14 steel rim should be for the 65 "A" frame models sould be. If you perhaps have the info then I can have my rims modified. We have only one good person that can do this and he is known all over South Africa! 5/120pcd x 14" rims are fairly easy to obtain from the breakers!

The colour of your Beaumont:  When I stripped the Malibu I found the same colour inside the body. The outside was more red. The outside had a touch-up job way back!  What is the name of the colour on your's?

Thanks for the rim info.  The Malibu has only one original rim and it is a 4 1/2Jx14 and had a 700x14 white/wall tyre on!  Big difference from 4 1/2J to 7J!!!!!

No question about deciding whether to drive it before you die. Why save it for someone else? I used to think of saving cars, now I want to enjoy them while I can!

JoHann; I found a near color match with a Hampsted Green; I believe its from a Nissan mini-van, its is so close of the same color Turqoise its hard to believe they are not the same color.I have used this touch up aerisol, its crazy for the match. I just wanted to find something out there with todays colors to come close as the Turq. just to see, this is what I have found, dont know year minivan88-92?

65beau,  I have a red Face!!!!ashamed  With a different home language I mixed up the colours! The colour is of the one standing inside the store!  Regal Red!  It appears to be close to a maroonish colour that I found inside the Malibu.  Will take a photo of mine and then all can tell me what the colour is!!!
