keep in mind the US gent is talking Fahrenheit, we're talking Celcius. 17 degrees Fahrenheit (-9C) is a little chilly when they're only use to 32 degrees F (0C). Send him to Saskatchewan or Winnipeg one winter and ask him if he can feel his ears. I was talking today about when I shattered a passenger door window in Yorkton Saskatchewan (-38C temp with windchill of -52C) When we made it to Medicine Hat and temp was -20C it was like arriving in the Bahamas.
We're getting into it now...Blowing snow all day and the temp is dropping constantly. 'sposed to be a high(?) of -23 this weekend, with a wind chill of -34. Shoulda been born a snake or a bear, they know what to do in the winter.

I thought about deleting this thread because of the 4 letter word in the subject title. Because Todd is posting in here it must be an acceptable 4 letter word. Please refrain from using this 4 letter word in excess on the forum if possible. Maybe we could call it something else that isn't so depressing like: snowball making material or snowmobile roads or ski powder ......... anything but SNOW!

That's one hell of a Blizzard you got there. Some of it made it to Vancouver.
yup we got it on the Island too, 6 inches in some spots. Got to use the new Tundra in 4wdr today, yahoooo, lol. 1st time I've used it in a year. 11:20 and still snowing fairly heavily. Victoria is getting hit hard as nobody knows how to drive in it, since they only see it once every 10 years, LOL. We don't get dry powder snow here, it's slippery wet icey stuff. Forecast for -5 to -10C for the next week, that's cold for out here. LOL. Maybe even a white christmas this year. LOL.
So much for my $200 Grand prix....It ran fine all day, then I stopped by a pub for a drink and came out and it wouldn't start....Turns over great, but won't start. DAMN NEW CARS,LOL(its a 1994). Went back into the pub, Played some VLT's and came out with $960, not bad, I started with $100. Cab ride home(2 hour wait) and now, haveto figure whats wrong with the thing. Have to get it towed home in the morning(or to Canadian Tire)
