It is a great brochure and I love the way they feature the old Challengers - I hope GM is smart enough to do that with the Camaro.
Make mine a R/T Classic in B5 Blue with the Trac Pac option. I think the R/T with the variable displacement motor is the best bang for the buck. SRT-8s may be cool but I know some people who have them and they are TERRRIBLE on fuel.
Somewhere back in Peterborough, In my Mothers house, I should have the originals, for all those crazy coloured Chryslers, including the Superbird and Daytona...I'll have to look for them next time I'm back

We are incredibly busy. There is NO sign of slowdown for us yet. Typically, Manitoba is very stable. We don't boom when the rest of you do, but we don't bust when the rest do either.
A lot of customers are asking a lot of questions. We live in an extremely prosperous community though. 450 people but amazing wealth.
Here is a picture of our credit union building that was put up in 1994. I believe current assets of this Co-operative is about 130 million dollars if my figures are correct.

I'd like to see a Plum Crazy Purple or a Sub-Lime one...
I'm sure they will come out with those colours in time, if they sell enough orange and blue ones. They were not going to originally offer blue on the new Camaro SS but enough people protested so they added it to the available colours. Power to the people!
They did 2 Hi-Impact colors per year on the Charger R/T Daytona. ' 06 GoManGo & Top Bannana. '07 was Plum Crazy & Sub-Lime. SuperBee's were Detonator Yellow and TorRed.
Went for a ride in one today with my good buddy 65 Camino.
I am not impressed. Here is why.
1. Sales staff knows nothing about the car. 2. Sales Manager knows a little about the car. 3. My head hits roof and I have to tilt it sideways, probably only good for a round the corner drive before I permanently damage my neck. 4. Car goes sideways a lot.
Actually I been trying to convince him to get a CTS, same price nicer car. It's not my money but if the B5 blue Classic shows up in his driveway, I'll never be able to go anywhere in it........I just don't fit inside it boys.
I doesn't matter how well a CTS may go, it's a completely different kind of car. A 4 door will never equal a 2 door in terms of style, image or charisma. There is a reason there are no 4 door Camaros or Mustangs.
Even if Chrysler does go belly up, in fact maybe even because of it, just about every one of the V8 Challengers will end up being a collector's item. As for a Cadillac's depreciation and long term value, well, you know all about that Ray, that's the only reason you can afford to have so many of them!
Actually, I'm quite surprised you didn't fit in it. I know several people who are 6'4" who have driven them and found them quite comfortable. Did you sit in the driver's seat and adjust it all the way down and back?

I was cramped all round Hillar, shoulder room and everything. Not a car I could ever consider or even ride around in. It's a two seater. I found the same thing driving a friend's Daytona, which is a four door.
I suppose Cadillac agrees with you on two doors and I can't disagree with what you say about the 4 door vs. 2 door, but when a friend asks I give him an honest opinion. The Challenger has to be imo the most impractical car I've been in since I was in that Daytona Charger.
I think the other issue is that Caddys don't come in B5 blue.
..and as of noon today niether do Challengers.
Darryl told me that apparently they will as of Monday. I think it will be a cold day in hell before you can convince him to ever order any 4 door - has he ever owned one?

I doubt he has ever owned a 4 door BUT it only came up because he asked me how comfortable his parents would be in the car. Here I am at 50 twisting and turning to get in and out, my legs are so long I had to lift them out with my hands to clear the door Jams and rocker, my neck is still sore today from being on angle. It would be cruel and inhumane punishement to get people 25 years my senior in and out of that car.
Come to think of it I only bought my first 4dr once the third baby came a long back in 92, a Pontiac, followed by a Cadillac, so I've only had two for everyday use.
The sales manager thought that the Classic version with B5 blue is most likely a US only option anyway. Of course it is a common trait to hear what you want, he did say he would call his regional sales manager on Monday to see if he knew anything about the new colour.
Blue is the turning point. With the order deadline of the B5 model it's swaying my interest. But after driving the Challenger it seems like I was riding in a truck with the seating position high up.
Why is it there are so few cars in blue? After looking at the them yesterday I picked up an Impala bochure. It comes in four different shades of silver...
I had to think if I ever had a four door. Does a rental car count? I had a G6 back in the spring.
I have to admit that that blue car in the US sales brocure looks very nice. I suppose it is a copy of Richard Petty's blue. It seems that Canadian marketing and US marketing are very different, not many blue cars at all here. I even notice that the Silver rental Pathfinder I had in Florida had a V8 but on the Nissan Pathfinder Canadian cars no V8. Of course who better to undertstand Canadian auto marketing than Canadian Poncho guys!
The online rumor mill is saying that Nardelli announced that Chrysler may not restart production until.....later. Some gloom and doomer's are saying they may not start up at all...
