He called. Said that it was not available in Canada but he would look every day. I think I'll wait until spring. I found out that if this truly is the first day it's going to be available until Mid April.
That's crazy - I could understand something to do with emissions or lighting but colour? Those marketing/product planning people need their heads examined....

I'm not taking the dealers word as gospel. Ray can attest to the knowledge of the dealers sales people. They were writing my order on a "worksheet". Then he took it to the manager...
I know of another dealer that is more in tune with these vehicles which I may call. Sitting on the fence at least until I hear about the Camaro ( d-day is Thursday afternoon for info).
Now I hear Cadillac is introducing a 2 door CTS at Detroit this week. Does it come in blue?
What is a guy to do?
To top it off Dynacorn has brought out a '69 Mustang shell...
Dodge surprise: Challenger R/T Classic harkens back to '70s era muscle
Bradford Wernle Automotive News January 13, 2009 - 2:57 pm ET
Dodge is evoking the spirit of the original 1970 Challenger with a special edition car it will introduce later this month.
Dodge quietly placed the Challenger R/T Classic special edition car on its Detroit auto show stand during press days but won't announce details until later this week.
The Challenger R/T Classic will be offered initially in Hemi Orange and Torred. A B5 Blue edition will come in late February or early March along with other Challenger colors.
The R/T Classic is set apart by racing stripes and the original Challenger script on the front fender sides, instead of on the grill, as in the current vehicle. It will be the only Challenger R/T with a working hood scoop.
Dodge also will launch a B5 Blue version of the SRT8 in March. The Hemi cranks out 376 hp when mated to the six-speed manual transmission.
The automatic transmission version generates 372 hp.

Don't want to rain on the parade and even though a lot of Canadians have to look north to Detroit, it was still in the United States of America last time I checked.
Even if you get one from state side I don't think the warranty is valid here. We work with a supplier and he got his wife an Escalade EXT from a dealer in Florida last year, saved over $30,000 BUT GM Canada won't honour the warranty. He had to buy an aftermarket warranty for it. She uses it to pull her horses to shows so he really needs the warranty.
