a local dealer has on their lot a black 1995 impala SS with 104,000 kms, it has bucket seats and console-strange I thought that was a 96 thing, anyway fairly clean decent ride asking $8995-sounded like $7500 might do it as is but you would have to negotiate that-anyway its Niagara Auto Sales on Niagara Street, Welland, Ontario
Just working on a deal selling our 94 SS, similar miles. Super clean car, mint interior, original paint, tires about 60%-70% tread, 3.73 gears, reprogrammed, 160 thermostat, A pillar tach etc. If we ever used this car it would not be for sale but I drive one with a 6 speed (beater) every day so there is no thrill to owning the nice one!
If anyone has an interest in that SS you mentioned they can feel free to contact me with questions as I've owned SS's since 2000 and have learned a lot of their little "quirks".
For that matter Ken, I think you know the B bodies from the 90's pretty well too!!
Oh, and they all have buckets and console but the 94 and 95 have a column shift, 96 console is different with a floor shifter.

You asked me before, about my neighbors 96 SS It has 88,000 km, and sits out all summer, and inside in winter. He bought it new, and because I was a nice guy, I could have it for 20,000.00 The black 95 at my younger friends house, is still there for 3,000 (but) it need quarters?,and rockers?, lower front fenders?. I was disappointed to see so much rust. The one Ken mentioned, is probably a much better car, if it doesnt need rust repair..

No rust repair required-the dealer called me to see if I could market it, the hood had some checking and a couple minor dings, the tires were poor likely make safety but thats it, interiopr is nice but was smoked in-this would make a good daily driver without the usual 12-15,000 price tag, most of the ones I see for $7500 have 200 km or more so the 104 odometer will help retain this ones value for a while.
I looked at a maroon 96 this summer one owner with 88km for $9500-it was a better car.
these cars seem to be all over the map in price. $3000 sounds cheap even for a rough one-there always seems to be entry level buyers for anything.
905 735 6023 is the dealer in Welland with this one-the saleman I know is Jason Miller his Dad Jim also works there
If that 95 Carl mentioned is that rusty, likely the floors and frame are bad too. Then it's not really a steal.
You are right Ken, prices are all over on these. I think they are great buy even as a driver because they are not gas hogs, safe, and not bad for maintenance.
I got word of a 325,000 km Roadmaster sedan today with an LT1. May have to check it out this weekend. Sounds like the price will be pretty good.

someone just replied to me about a 94 LT1 roadmaster parts car on Brantford kijiji for $750-sounds good but I had temporarily lowered my 95 with 220km thats a good car to $2500 and never had a bite-I have more in it !
I didn't fiqure the rusty impala ss was a steal-just more market for low dollar stuff-Surely its always best to buy the best one you can get your hands on.

You're at $2500? Would you deliver for expenses to get here and a plane ticket home?
I like your colour a lot better than the one I heard of today.
I think it can go to Winnepeg via Searail for around $900-call Ross to be sure @ 905 876-1492 or rosswood@aztec-net.com $900 would be a little more than the fuel to drive it 1200 miles and fly me back-but my family can't do without me for those couple days, if its cheaper from Toronto via searail I could likely get it there or have some drivers take it-its licensed and insured driven daily-the rad went last week I put a new one in it the other day-the check engine light is still on from that-I'll get it put out-the car is good value at $2500 but shipping puts it where you likely don't want it-shipping stops most of the western stuff from heading this way too. You could check with local dealers out there sometime they have cheap runs I sold a Jeep to a guy (dealer) out in Manitoba he brought it there for $700
Our economy is getter very poor-nothing selling everyone wants to trade-whats the Nova SS and how much $ ? I was looking at a nice yellow one from Sask a couple weeks back
Oh it will not be cheap. It's a matching numbers 327 powerglide SS factory air car from Arizona. Absolutely totally rust free all original sheet metal. Needs paint, interior and the engine is out. Tinted glass, rear antenna, wire wheel covers and a wood wheel. Only thing missing is the original carb, intake and air cleaner.
Bottom of the quarters behind the wheel is the same on both sides---
Bottoms of the doors the same---
Paint is the third coat I think. Peeling in a bunch of spots---
Missing molding pieces are in the car---

Sorry fellas, I have something related to the original topic. I had one of these ordered as my company car but I left the firm before I got it.....it was actually a municipality and I was torn between the SS and a full blown Police 9C1, purple pearl was the colour I was thinking of.
In the meantime LORD VADER, YOUR CAR IS READY.
I can probably let the ad go for $25 plus postage.
That is my daily driver on the poster! Except with the not-available 6 speed. Hey, wait a minute. Maybe I could call mine a COPO car... I like that ad, it's even the 94 like ours are.
And the Sunday driver here is the automatic.

Carl, do you have a 96 parts car? I'm looking for a complete console and shifter assembly, and steering column for my car. Do you have that? and if so, how much?
Sorry John, I sold that stuff on the Impala forum a few years ago when I got this car.
It was stripped of all interior except that when I got it. Also was missing doors, front fenders and wheels. I bought it because I wanted the Suncoast hood for my 6 speed. I sold off all the other stuff and paid for the car. All I have left is the shell (mint shell), diff and frame.
It has a nice aftermarket power sunroof in it too.

I always thought complete resto but a friend of mine pointed out that I should just put an engine in and drive it. Fix it up as time and money permits.

I think most people are thinking $10,000 but we all know how tough one of these are to get in this condition-too bad its not a 4-speed ! OK, I'm thinking I can go $9,000 and my 1995 Buick Roadmaster that I'm asking $3200 for-so thats like $12,200 and I have to ship it here-I'll have pretty close to the $15,000 in it at my door
I have someone who has been dealing with me on this for a while, but unsure he is ready to pull the trigger. I called him today and explained that he is first and that he and I are going to need to sit down and talk seriously!
I actually have all the stuff to do a factory 4 speed conversion on it, trans, shifter, console, bellhousing, pedals, flywheel etc.....
