I have two rare books published by Bookman Publishing from the early 80's. Both feature extensive Canadian Pontiac/Acadian/Beaumont information.
1. Pontiac- The Complete History 1926-1979, by Thomas E. Bonsall
Beautiful 303 page hardcover book features all information on all U.S., Canadian, Australian models, fully illustrated (b/w), well documented info. Canadian specific content consists of over 34 large pages full of facts, figures and pictures (59 to be exact). All Canadian Pontiacs, Acadians and Beaumonts are featured. Book itself in excellent condition with age taken into consideration. The dust jacket is in poor condition but is intact with wearing on edges and a few rips, but nothing missing. Pictures avail upon request. Asking $25.00 + actual shipping.
2. Nova SS: A Source Book, by Edward A. Lehwald
This is a very rare book which is #10 in the awesome "Source Book" series that Bookman published from 1980-1986. Consists of Original brochure and ad copy reprints with chapter-by-chaper commentary, prices, production info and more. Main body of the book is related to the Nova SS/Chevy II Nova SS models, but features some of the best Acadian material in print-- 30 pages of reprinted Acadian SD/SS brochures and literature (b/w). This would cost you hundreds of dollars to get all the brohures printed in this book. Book itself in great condition, back cover and some of the back pages have a crease, and the cover has faded in the upper top from green to blue. Pages are bright, white, clean no marks or tears, binding is strong and tight. Asking 40.00 + actual shipping. Cheapest copy found on Amazon.com, abebooks.com or TEwarthautobooks.biz is $60.00.
