Not much accumulation here yet but the winds are just a howling. If anyone has ever been downtown in a big city you know this is just exacerbated by the big buildings and causes a wind tunnel effect. The building they are constructing across the stree from mine just had some of it's windows blown out:
Hillar is right, one of the worst streets is York, it runs down to Front but somehow the winds whip off the lake and funnel right up York to Queen making it impossible to walk south on a Day like this.
I'm sure Toronto will be the brunt of a lot of jokes before the day is out, but I don't think the rest of the country has any idea what it is like moving 3,000,000 people around in a blizzard !
Thank you.... I will ... at 5o'clock have to wait until wife stops going updown and back... She likes to pack it down, so its harder for me, to blow away and I must have a nap 2-4
always wondered where you were 2-4. back from tire place, jimmy is fitted with truck mud and snow, passed over the 401. saw cars in ditches, saw a car hauler coming off the 401 with one of the top cars 1/2 off. going to be a mess. looks like a inside movie night
I made it home. S10 buyer arrived at noon. I took him to the license office to transfer ownerships. He waited at the dealership afterwards (it's pretty comfortable there-we have a cafe, wireless internet etc). Thankfully management decided to shut down at 2 so we got back here to Ingersoll in good time, cleaned the foot of snow off the truck, warmed it up and away he went. Wisely he decided to go back to London and wait out the storm until tomorrow and then head to Niagara on the Lake. Connie shoveled the lane around noon and I did it again. I'm glad thats over with. I hate selling vehicles.
5pm and i'm at work until 7. Got in ok this morning, slow but alright. Snow has stopped so really just wind to deal with. I just have to make it out of the parking lot! Then when i get home i have to make it down our street! And i have the priveledge of coming back in for 5am. I hope we get DUMPED ON Sunday! I'd really like to have Monday off. My wife got to go home early so i hope she'll at least shovel a spot in the driveway for me to dive into.

Congrats! Selling anything is a pain right now. Must be nice to have that extra cash in your pocket and some space in the garage freed up!
