Geez, no wonder there was no traffic and the big rig felt like it was on rails!

I heard that this will be first time since 1971 that the entire country has a White Christmas!

I heard that too, apparently it's as cold in Vancouver as it is here and they have tons of snow on Vancouver Island.  Good for them, they will have a real Canadian Christmas!

This is the one when we flipped and the focus is a bit out because Maddy snapped it on the second roll...

barely a scratch? looks are deceiving. every body panel was twisted or bent. the roof was pitched ever so slightly. in other words because it was a unibody it was written off. they weren't going that fast and it did come to a stop on the drivers door after rolling completely over. but on a good note, it did its job. they had a load of groceries in the back and because of the dog gate nothing was pitched foreward, only 2 broken eggs. my wife and her friend both had seat belt bruises and my son a stiff neck. cars can be replaced.

Our receptionist moved here from Vancouver a number of years ago. We get awful tired of hearing how wonderful Vancouver weather is. She went "home" for Christmas, left last Friday morning. I can't wait till she comes back to work on Monday.....................

Sorry Vancouver guys, welcome to Manitoba!!!

Man are we getting hit hard. #1 HWY was shut down the other day. Airport has so many delays and canceling flights, because they can't move the snow and de ice fast enough.
Good thing is we're going to have a white Christmas for the first time in alota yearsbiggrinbiggrin

I sincerely hope that all Canadian Poncho's will have a joyfull white Christmas in the spirit of true Christianity. This comes with best wishes from Rencia and myself.

Here in South Africa we are experiencing extreme heat 34 degrees Centigrade in the shade!

Probably much closer to the actual weather conditions when the Christ child was born.

What is that building in your picture Johann?

That is a ton of snow, of course its been snowing again since about 2:00 pm here in TO too. Don't you love a White Christmas?

The works crews are already removing the snow from Toronto streets, usually don't see that until late January. Don't know if you ever have seen it but they basically line up about 50 to 100 tandem dumps on arterials then they have a giant snow blower eat up the snow banks and blow it into the dumps , they follow that with a constant flow of salt and you'd never know there was any snow there.
