Lucky you can stay home. I'm at work today. I made it in however several employees who live here in London couldn't come in! The roads were brutal. I really think everything should be closed Christmas Eve as well. I can't believe the amount of cars booked in today!

Took me the better part of an hour to dig out the plough windrow about 2 1/2 feet X 6 feet of ice chunks on the road side, plus the sidewalk plough came by as well.

Even tough we live in a quiet neighbourhood there are three schools along the road to the north of my house, I'm a corner, so this street is a priority to plough, even though nobody has an address on that road except one of the schools. The road was down to the pavement when I woke up at 6:00 am but the windrow was higher than the Deville's trunk!

In Military speak, I am the OD, Officer of the Day here at the office so I'm shutting her down at noon!

Hey Steve,

Just a suggestion, why not put all your Frosty shots in one thread one after the other, sort of elapsed time.

Least you have a blower.  This shoveling snow is not for wet coast. Man is there going to be some flooding when the rain comes after Christmas and over a foot of snow melts.

Flooding     wow never though of that    I am scared of the snow on our roofs.. I took some edges off but cant reach it   It IS supposed to rain here  that will add a lot of weight ...(on the roofs)   hope you dont get a flood.

Thanks Carl, it is really nasty, the water is running like rivers between snow banks and since there is nowhere for it to go its pooling up against my house. They are warning on the news to make sure your floor drains are open. I checked mine and it is good but I poured in some heavy duty drain opener as a preventative measure. The catch basins on the roads are covered with snow so we have a real mess.

Lets see   confuse    Snow,Snow,Snow, Snow, Freezing rain, RAIN, Snow ?   sounds about right  frustrated.gif   When is Winter over?.....                       Here's a picture of a ladies truck, down the street.. She nevers uses her driveway, in summer...  Has it coated and WONT drive on it.. She had a $20,000 interlocking driveway  put in this year.. She shovels it her self and parks her truck, out do the street,so it  (on her side) cant be plowed.. Barb asked the snowplow driver, today about it ,and he says the town, wont do anything about it....cool?    We call her the crazy lady  Husband dies and left her several million..
