Well don't keep us hanging . If I'm at the wreckers I get the cable from the hood release . Get the cable started and once it warm up you can saw through pretty fast

LOL, ok , you guys ready !, ha ha, ancient chinese secret, Im willing to share with you on Tuesday for a hamburger today...... brake cleaner ...,but dont tell no one, lol, only probs when using it your mating surfaces must be very clean, sunlite dish soap and ammonia works well, the spray brake cleaner disolves the adhisives, remove moldings, use little spray nozzle, lightly spray adhisive around windshield inside and out (cover your dash if you want to keep your dash!)....tic-toc tic....@15-20mins later, thank you,
Maybe works on the old cars that used liquide rubber but urethane? Even with piano wire it takes forever to cut through that stuff.

I take windshields out with a knife. Make sure it is really warm when you are doing it. I used to use wire or fine cable but that is too hard on the hands.
You know what works best for me.....I drop my car off at the glass shop and go back a few hours later and taaadaaahhh, my windshield has been replaced.
I agree also. I broke one years ago doing it myself. I guess I don't have the patience, and found a shop in London that comes to your place and removes, and installs new windshield for usually under $200, and takes the old one away. If anyone needs the name & number let me know and I'll dig it up & post.
The Answer, if your bank balance is well into the black!! and the windscreen is obtainable. A fellow collector imported a new windscreen and it cost him R4000 = C$500.00.

found the instuctions for removing from your fingers; spray generous amount on affected area and on your unit, rub gingerly,when it starts to come off, spray another dose, rub more vigorously, it will come
