Merry Christmas to all. As you can see, I just joined this group. I own a 1973 Pontiac Grand Ville ambulance, body by Superior Coach. It is a solid car and I can't wait to have fixed to the 9's and on the road. Shooting for May if all goes well.
I am a speed reader and I did an about face and had to re-read. The first time I read your intro I got out of it that you were going to fix it to run 9's

Welcome! 455? Factory Air? Would love to know the special options they added to ambulances. Do you have any documentation regarding it's build or sale?

Sorry for the confusion. Fix it to the 9's (pristine shape ) not run in the 9's allthough that would be cool. Talk about a fast responce time. Take care for now, Kelsey
are you allowed to keep it in ambulance condition? I looked into buying a van model once here in Ontario and was told that I'd have to dismantle the lights etc. before I could get it licensed, even before I could get it off the lot.
You are allowed to keep it in its original shape allthough emergency equipment can not be activated other than parades etc. I am not sure what other provinces legislation states. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
