Merry Christmas everyone, great site! I found it last night, lots of nice rides in there. Here's a picture of my Beaumont, been working on it for 15 years! most people would have scrapped her from the condition it was in when I first found her. Now she has a 454 700R4,3000stall and a IRS unit from a 94 Lincoin MKVIII with 3.08 gear. This spring a 4.11 gear is going in. Hope you like it.
welcome tony. doesn't she already have enough power to shred the tires with 3.08? i reason i ask is because i had 390's in my truck and was shifting to much and now with 308, i find its great cruising gear. only not as much growl because the motor is at a lower rev.
Welcome Tony. Great looking car. Love to see some more pics of her. I also have a '67 Beaumont, and can never see enough of them. Hope to see you at some of the shows next season. Leo
when I'm driving in overdrive, the moter is reving around 1800 rpm with the 411 I should be at 2400 rpm the moter works better at that rpm when cruising at 60mph.
I don't think I've been there , not sure where it is. The car was a 6 cyl. auto when I found her in a scrapyard outside Ottawa in 1991, gave the man a $100. and towed it home sat in my barn till 2005 then actually made the time and effort to finish it.

Maybe I've missed them, but have you posted more pics of your car elsewhere on this forum?
