My kids are 16, 19 and 21 but they will be up early checking out their stockings. About 8:30 or so I am sure they will get me going, We will open the presents to a background of Christmas songs. We usually have a pancake breakfast with sausage or bacon, maple syrup and I mix up a batch of morning glories for the family, I just mix my own in the glass!
There is also the delivery of meals for the less fortuante about 11-1:00 pm. The turkey will need to go in the oven around noon, Mary has a ham as well and whatever else is going needs to get done too. We will rest until the family arrives around 5:30 pm. We will have 12 this year for dinner.
Our gathering is not on Christmas day this year so we will likely do our usual routine. Breakfast, church at 10:30, open presents after lunch (sometimes bacon and eggs like yours) then since we have the day to ourself, likely off to the local Legion Hall. The local churches put on a free turkey supper for those who are alone or can't afford a nice turkey dinner. We don't fit in either category but they like to have Christian families show up and do some singing and games etc with those who show up for the supper. We've done it a number of years and had lots of fun with it. Our community is small enough we have no homeless but some of the attendees are as close to it as you can get.
It feels a bit silly getting a free turkey dinner on Christmas when we are not in need. The first time we went there we did not want to stay for the supper meal itself but they insist as they want people to sit with the less blessed ones.
If you have an opportunity to do something like this locally and have never tried it, try it. You may be amazed at the blessing you receive out of doing it.

Not much going on here.. Mom's sick, too much snow to get to the garage for the pontiac work. Did get new ear plugs tho...15yr old got an electric guitar and amp. Give him something to do in between allowance days and him getting something for the 66 falcon. Merry Christmas everyone!! Art
We had an excellent family Christmas-my parents were over last night (Christmas eve) for supper, the kids were up at 7 openning gifts-went to Church for 10, went to my parents for supper when we heard others wouldn't be there-it was great-Santa treated us very well-you'd never know I lack employment. Everyone seemed very happy-and I got a great hat !
had a great day, got up late, opened gifts, had married daughter and son-in-law over all day, then later in afternoon the doc and family from across the road over (whose family are all in Sask. ) but they'll soon be moving back to Sask. also had over a friend and family from town whose family is far away as well. so we had 17 people around the dinner table - as above - good food, good drink, great company! all in all a good day with family and friends to celebrate the birth of our Lord.
I has to go for a walk earlier to work off our traditonal Christmas brunch. (We did our own family Christmas today). As Stephenzone put it the other day, we had the "heart attack" meal---bacon, eggs, toast and hash browns.
The steaks go on the BBQ shortly....
