Probably Toyota.

A couple things to comment on...

One, there was another 427 ZL1 Camaro shipped to a Canadian dealer, Nurse Chev Olds in Whitby Ontario..
GM sent the car there to have a ZL1 engine close by for Eaton's CanAm team car when he was running at Mosport..
I forget what became of it or if they ended up pulling the engine or not...what's strange is CanAm ZL1's are different displacements, 494 is one I think, I forget the other..

On the Z16, the Prototype was Dave Miner's car...sadly Dave just passed away a just few months ago.. He was a great guy and thankfully his Z16 website as shown above has been resurected by his friends and family..
I remember he told me once that his Prototype had the standard non-boxed frame unlike the production Z16 cars which all had the boxed convert. frames..
Another cool 'kind've' Z16 fact is GM built one Mk1V 2-Dr. Post car, a black car that even one upped the Hydraulic Lifter L37 396/375 motor of the Z16's as it had the 1965 only L78 396/425 Solid Lifter motor!.

Wow, I didn't see that. I will have to check on the ZL1 shipping list again. 67SD396 emailed it to me the other night when he was digging for the answer.  I thought there was only one Canadian car on the whole list.

Nope. I did some scouting because I was pretty sure I knew which company it was. It is not Bricklin, unless Carson invested there too. If he did, there is 2 correct answers.

The pictures , ont he turntable are the car i was telling you about befor. 1 door one side, and 2 doors on the ther side, but it doesnt doesnt show the other side unfortunatly . The car third down on the right is your first 64 Chevelle / Nova , and is tagged Nova ( January '63 )Late April '63 Malibu badge first appeared on the rear quater , though the grille wasnt yet finalized ( bottom row ) .

These photos of the 65 Malibu are worth gold to me as I intend to prepare an exhibition Album from the time it was built to the present moment.  Put it on a little pedastil next to the car! with the Canadian Poncho regalia!!!!biggrin

Question:
What car was built in South Africa by GMSA from 1967 to 1973 and developed under the project name "Operation Mayflower" ?  I worked on this project from 65 to 66!

The photo shows the last SS model of 1973 that I owned for 9 trouble-free years.

Pardon the one in the arm and one in the oven photo. My two sons were born 15 Months apart!

It's ok Carl, I've gone back and done a complete forensic audit of all your answers. Hillar even e-mailed Dan Jensen in the US to get further review on some Pontiac history. We reviewed the audit findings at a local Tim Horton's last night with 65 Camino there as well as an objective observer.  The review took about 2 1/2 hours to complete. So far you are 99.275% correct. wink

There was a mid year change on the Olds Ralleye 350. Something that had been part of the Ralleye 350 option content became extra cost. What was that?
