nope, its a white car, been in a chicken coup for a long time. shes buiried up tp the bottm of the doors, what a mess, considering its rarity, I would clean it up, despite its condition, we have all seen cars restored from not much there to holy cow
Maybe we should all take turns harrassing that owner into selling! How often do you bug him? (for the red convert!) I know of a nice original paint 69 chevelle ss396 under a tarp, i asked the lady if she'd sell, said she's saving it for her kid, who was about 12... i should have told her to take my money now, and buy him the honda he wants when he's 16!!
Carl, i cant believe that car is still sitting!! and driveline intact!... its only worth the #'s motor and Vin tags now in that condition (if the block is even salvageable!)... but someone with a 'donor' convertible would be interested i'm sure!

'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
No offense to the offerer, but $18k for that car is wacko... more than likely the frame is beyond repair, so realistically if thats the case, you are buying a stuck motor and trim tags...
That is just like the 57 Chevy Convert that used to sit at Polson and Charles in the north end....sat in the yard stripped(he had all the parts) for probably 20 years......last time I looked it was gone
I remember that 57 convert, was it blue??? Or was the tarp blue that was covering it??? about 12 years ago I remember seeing a red 68 Camaro SS/RS sitting in some ones back yard in the north end, it was close to cathedral. I used to cruise the north end back lanes looking for cars about 10 years ago, thats when I saw that 57 and lots of other cars too.

Wonder if anyone knows where it went? I could never find anyone home to ask about it. there was pieces scattered all over the yard from what i remember.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH. The other one has a longer roof.
I've been there too... it was right behind the A&W on main st., the front door had a paper sign that said "car is not for sale" hahaha! ...i still had to knock on the door! I think it had a tarp on it for a while...
Some of you heard my 'garage find' story at our coffee outing of the 69 Firebird T/A RAIII, 30k orig miles, original paint car that i let slip thru my fingers for $3500! -i'm too nice to my friends!... that was on Seven Oaks (notice the two Andrews hunt cars in the north end/west k!).
Theres a mint original SS LS6 car in the north end, in a garage, but he knows what he has!
Do you guys remember the old guy that drove a brown GS 455 Stage1 car year round in the 80's? wouldnt sell... another girl that i chatted with in Kild.Park that inherited a white GSX 350 car... I also know of a 69 Camaro ss/rs daytona yellow w/yellow and black houndstooth deluxe interior -needs a full resto....
What ever happened to the 69 firebird???? Ya there was (is) lots of cars in the north end. I know where a 68 400 4spd firebird is, just sitting in this guys garage. Takes it out once a year if that.

the 69 T/A is still in winnipeg, still sporting the original paint -there was an article in the Free Press on it this summer (almost made me sick!)... by a guy that owned a hobby store 'gregs muscle car classics' or something like that, sold diecast cars and nascar stuff...
i think craigslist minnesota is great for us, big market, decent prices and a short ride from here... i bought my rebuilt 396 off there, for $1400! and i have $1000 in receipts from summit with it...
There is also a 67-68 4 speed in St Boniface that is NOT for sale when you go ask the unhappy owner who comes to the door. It's also rotting away.
You just have to hit these guys at the right time. When they're low on cash. Right after Christmas is the best. Having a new baby in the house also loosens them up a bit to part with the car as well. Sending the wife softens them up too.
