Guardian Maintenance was GM's big slogan, mid to late 70's I'm thinking. Maybe someone here remember's exactly when.
This is one of the oldest pieces I got from the Pontiac dealership I was at from 80 to 85. I've gotten so used to walking under it every time I walk out of the garage I forget it's even there. Tonight I was looking at it thinking "Hey, that's kind of neat, and getting old."

Sure I remember it, it even appears on the old owners's manuals and service booklets. I'm holding a 1965 Pontiac user's manual in my hand and that logo covers the entire back cover of it. I'd say they switched to Good Wrench from Guardian Maintenace, mid to late 80's.
I need to build a barn/shop just hold all of the memoribilia I have acquired over the years. I have a number of back-lit signs that look really cool at night.
