Anyone remember Guardian Maintenance?

Guardian Maintenance was GM's big slogan, mid to late 70's I'm thinking. Maybe someone here remember's exactly when.

This is one of the oldest pieces I got from the Pontiac dealership I was at from 80 to 85. I've gotten so used to walking under it every time I walk out of the garage I forget it's even there. Tonight I was looking at it thinking  "Hey, that's kind of neat, and getting old."

Thats cool Carl but it's way before my time. Any stuff like that would look great in my shop.

Sure I remember it, it even appears on the old owners's manuals and service booklets. I'm holding a 1965 Pontiac user's manual in my hand and that logo covers the entire back cover of it. I'd say they switched to Good Wrench from Guardian Maintenace, mid to late 80's.

Cool sign Carl.

I have never seen one even resembling it before.
