You might get away with using a car like this as a daily driver out west where it's dry and little road salt is used. But this car would disintegrate in 5 years if exposed to winter use on the east coast. I tried that one time with a 58 Ford wagon I had. 223 6 cyl std from Alberta. It was a great car and actually very reliable year round, but it deteriorated pretty quickly after a couple of years of winter use and/or outdoor storage here. They don't use sand here - just pure road salt, and it gets dropped by the tonne at the slightest hint of ice or snow. That, plus the damp ocean air.
Got any extra storage space in that BIG garage Carl??? LOL.
