Happy New Year!
I couldn't stay awake until midnight, tried but kept dozing off. Had a nice dinner with my wife then watched a Bond film...and yes she sat there on the couch right beside me...of course she was on the laptop.

Not a good start. Something I ate last night triggered one helluva migraine (crab legs? Spring rolls? who knows). So, I thought I'd get out and get some fresh air , get a Tims and fill up the Buick. I start the Buick up-loud exhaust leak! Where? At the front pipe (the one that costs a grand..). It quiets down as the car gets warmer. It's at the flange so perhaps I'll find a shop that can just replace it. I then go to get gas and see it went up 10 cents a litre. furious

I think I'll go back to bed!

You may recall that the 3.8's have trouble with that donut at the back where the pipe hits the manifold. That may well be it, and should be lots under a grand to fix!

I'll keep my fingers crossed. I do know the flange didn't look great at the rear of the pipe when I got it and hoped I'd get a year or so out of it. I'll have to get it on the hoist and see exactly what it is. It does sound mus-cu-lar though!biggrin
