Ian,

I'm sorry, didn't mean to undermind your posting-its great to get stuff posted in case someone is interested and missed it.

This car was for sale in the London area by the fire fighter that kept it in his garage for twenty years before he figured out he'd never fix it, then on e-bay by the next/current owner, someone posted a kijiji link here a couple weeks ago.

Its part of the hobby-keep up the good work posting !

Ken

I went to look at it. It's a rough car for sure. But It's hard to find convertibles that cheap. If I didn't have a surplus of cars and shortage of cash, add in ambition to take on a project it would be mine.

It could happen. Here's a 67 2+2 427 ragtop that moved down to the Southern US not long after it was sold:

Canadian Car only sold in Canada in 1967, this is Canadian Poncho !

A true California car is one that was sold there new (black plates)

yes lotsa cars head south for a better life and it is possible that it would have been cared for in the south for the past 41 years then returned here. But in this case definately not-maybe just maybe south Buffalo, NY.

Hey Carl-I like that license plate "7T1 Rat" I remember ordering LS4 RAG for my 73 Corvette in 1988 one of my options was "7T3 RAT". I later got 7D LS5 for my brother's car. I had on my 68SD396 Beaumont "RATT ON"

Its gets very creative-but is surprising whats still left after all these years-for Christmas this year I ordered from my kids to my wife "MOMMYZ" its on her Mustang now.

Thanks, I got 7T1RAT for my 71 Monte.. I offered it to my friend, with 4 speed 71 black Monte, but he can't see the meaning of the RAT Go figure Carl hmmm Maybe I can use it on my Ventura, after I put a big block in it..
