The exhaust ports are round.The date code is 10-30-73(Oct 30 73). So they would be an over the counter head (not a 1969 code) isn't a great deal for a head that has casting problems...

You could probably find a rebuilt/tested set for $1500-2000... its a pretty penny to pay...would look good on your car! but brodix or afr would make more power for less $$... you'd be surprised who i fool with my silver powdercoated stock heads!

A pair of 074's sold on ebay a few months ago for $1500, reconditioned and ready to go. Oval port heads for the street are the way to go IMHO.
